This is the rate for travel from our location to yours with trucks, manual log handling equipment, and the mill. 

The mobile mill doesn't just roll into place and start milling. It takes time to clear the area, level the mill, set up ramps, and perform normal startup procedures. 

This is the time the mill is actually running. The mill has an hour meter on it so you are only paying for time spent milling. 

When lumber is milled it has a high moisture content. The lumber can be airdried but to do that you need 1X1X48 spacers between the levels of boards in a stack called "stickers." If you don't use stickers your lumber will probably mold and rot. 

We accept the general wear and tear on blades as normal and a cost of doing business. We resharpen our blades about five times. But when we hit metal in the logs the blades are permanently damaged and must be replaced. This is the cost of replacing a blade.
